Our Story
Every recipe had to pass two people first
Anxiously Delicious is a small-batch bakery making cookies, cakes, and seasonal desserts from scratch, in batches small enough to watch closely — for people who’d rather have one exceptional thing than a dozen ordinary ones.
Before this was a business, I baked for two people.
My papa, Hector Sanchez, raised me, and gave me a sense of humor nobody else quite understood. He was a Nutter Butter man, particular about his sweets. My baby brother, Audelio, wanted chocolate in everything — he’s the reason I kept making s’more cookies long before anyone was paying me for them.
They were my first and my hardest critics. I lost my papa in 2019 and my brother in 2023, and the standard they set is still the one I bake to.
That standard is why I work the way I do: from scratch, in small batches, taking the time it actually takes. Nothing leaves my kitchen that I wouldn’t have handed to them.
Anxiously Delicious is mine — built to make them proud.
